Brown Gas augmentation — on-demand electrolysis, complete combustion, zero high-pressure storage. Here is exactly how UDJAN works.
Brown Gas is a specific mixture of hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O) produced by electrolysis of water. Unlike pure hydrogen, Brown Gas contains the oxygen required for its own combustion — it burns completely and cleanly alongside conventional fuels.
When introduced into a combustion chamber — whether a boiler firebox or a diesel engine's air intake — Brown Gas acts as a catalyst that improves the combustion of the primary fuel. Unburnt fuel is reduced, heat release is more complete, and exhaust emissions fall measurably.
UDJAN uses Brown Gas, not pure hydrogen — which means no high-pressure storage tanks, no gas cylinders, and no compressed hydrogen transportation at any point in the system.
High-pressure hydrogen storage and transportation carry significant risk and regulatory complexity. UDJAN eliminates both entirely — the gas is generated on-demand by electrolysis and consumed immediately in the same breath. There is nothing stored, nothing transported, and nothing that can leak at pressure.
The complete cycle from distilled water input to cleaner combustion output.
Distilled water is fed into the UDJAN electrolysis unit. No acids, no additives.
DC current splits water into Brown Gas (H₂ + O) at low pressure. No compression.
Brown Gas flows directly into the combustion air stream — boiler or engine — alongside existing fuel.
Brown Gas burns completely with primary fuel. Cleaner exhaust. Better efficiency. Less fuel consumed.
Why on-site Brown Gas generation is categorically safer and simpler than stored hydrogen.
Every advantage is measurable and verifiable at installation.
A full installation — from first bolt to first operational cycle — is completed by a UDJAN technician in 4 to 8 hours. There is no extended downtime, no factory shutdown, no multi-day installation crew. Your operation resumes the same day.
Brown Gas co-combusts with your existing fuel — diesel, HSD, or solid fuel. It does not replace the fuel; it augments it. The result is a more complete burn of every unit of primary fuel, with measurably less unburnt carbon in the exhaust.
This is UDJAN's most important safety advantage. High-pressure hydrogen storage at industrial sites is hazardous and heavily regulated. UDJAN eliminates storage and transportation entirely — the gas exists for milliseconds between generation and combustion.
Internal components are never touched. UDJAN attaches externally. Engine cylinder heads, piston assemblies, combustion chambers, and boiler fireboxes are unchanged. Existing manufacturer warranties remain fully intact.
Fuel consumption reduction is visible from the first full operating cycle after installation. Stack temperature drops, exhaust opacity reduces, and fuel metering shows less consumption — all within the first shift of operation.
UDJAN units are compact, self-contained, and can be moved between machines or scaled up by adding units in parallel. A single installation can serve one boiler; multiple units can serve an entire generator fleet or industrial plant.
Results vary by application and load conditions. Typical range for field-tested installations.
